WELCOME BACK and upcoming events

Namaste -

The love and light in me - meets and honors that same love and light in you.

To catch up you to speed if you are unaware of my history......

I closed the door to Neighborhood Yoga for a year to sail the coast of Mexico, and explore the Island of Bali, Indonesia , with my husband and 10 year old son. You can click on the link at the top of this page (to the right) www.SailingSantosha.blogspot.com to read my diary of this year long trip and see the photos of the beauty witnessed living at sea and living in Bali.

We have been back for a little over a month as I sit and type this. Neighborhood Yoga has been open for three weeks now. Many of my students have returned to their mats with me, and we have picked up right where we left off. I have missed teaching yoga more then words can even express, and I am so honored and touched that my students have missed what I have to offer.

I have many new insights to unpack from this year away and I am filled with many new ideas and inspirations to share. I have really enjoyed practicing outdoors - in the mountains, on the beaches, and on the decks of Santosha. So I plan to host some classes outside of the studio, and even take you sailing with me! I will also be putting together several weekend retreats for 2012, that will be designed to assist you in reconnecting with nature. The first retreat will be held in New Mexico, Spring of 2012. Also there is a new Saturday classes that will be held once a month, in addition to the ongoing weekly classes. In the Saturday class, we will be exploring Yin and Yang energies, for an extended time. We will meet for 2.5 hours for this very special practice. Much of our physical, emotional, and spiritual health depends on the balance of these two energies within our bodies, and this class will help you achieve this balance.

So with my heart wide open, I look forward to the moments we will share again. I am blessed to teach you yoga, and thank you, thank you, thank you, for returning to your mats with me.

Welcome back to Neighborhood Yoga!
